Tom Brady vs. Michael Vick

This year in football has been called "The year of the quarterback". Obviously this is due to the great play of quarterbacks at every level, not just the NFL. However, the topic under dispute in the NFL every year is who should win MVP? This year, the obvious top two candidates are Michael Vick of the Eagles and Tom Brady of the Patriots. With that said, who should be MVP of these two players? Michael Vick has completely turned the Eagles around, and they are currently 10-5, and headed to the playoffs. He has been unstoppable running and throwing the football, and there is no way for teams to defend him. Tom Brady, on the other hand, just like every year, has had amazing success throwing the football and led the Patriots to a 13-2 record thus far. With all this said, who deserves the MVP? Without either player, the teams would virtually be nothing. In my opinion, Tom Brady is more important to his team and more valuable, what do you think?

Gary Kubiak

Gary Kubiak, the Houston Texans head coach, has been coaching four the past few seasons and has had decent success. He has lead the Texans to their first winning season and also a five hundred 8-8 season. But despite these facts, he has yet to take the team to the playoffs, and this season has turned out especially bad after a very good start. Talk has been discussed of firing him after this year due to the fact that he cannot seem to lead the Texans to the playoffs, despite the unbelievable talent the Texans have at virtually all the skill positions. I think the Texans, however, should give Gary Kubiak one more year to see what he can do because overall the team has improved greatly with him as head coach. However, others do not think the same, what is your opinion on the matter? Should he be fired or kept one more year?

Brett Favre

Recently Brett Favre has been continuosly hurt and his amazing streak of consecutive starts finally came to an end. Brett is 41 years of age and once again, as the season comes to an end, people are discussing Brett's retirement. Brett has been very undecided every year for the past three or four years about his retirement. This year, with all the injuries and signs of age, leads me to ask the question do you think Brett Favre should retire? In my opinion, Brett has already hit his prime, and he needs to go ahead and hang it up. He causes a lot of distraction and commotion every year with his decisions, and I think its time to be done. I also think the league should not allow him, or anyone else for that matter, to be allowed to play that season without making it to training camp by a certain date. I think Brett is setting a bad example for young players, and it is time to retire. What do you think?
